"Thank you for your help.You provide a great service. I wish I had found you years ago.
I have scars from thyroid cancer (on my neck) and basal skin cancer and mole removal (on my face).
I really hated these scars and just wanted them to fade away.
I have been searching for years to find someone to
make my scars less noticeable.
I have spent lots of time and money and had one scar revision that left me with a much worse scar.
Thyroidectomy Scar
The largest and most visible scar, which I have had for about 27 years, is from
thyroidectomies. I consulted many medical professionals looking for a solution.
Surgical Revision
I was told by a medical professional that the only solution was to have the scar surgically revised by a plastic surgeon. I had my scar revised by a plastic surgeon. I was not happy with the results, since the scar was much more visible now.
Creams
I also searched for non surgical means to hide my scar. I tried flesh colored creams that were thick, greasy, and did not really hide or blend in my scar.
Laser Treatment
Each time I saw my dermatologist, I asked him for a solution. He told me that scar revision would not improve the appearance of my scar, but that laser treatments were the best option (although expensive). He didn't’ know of anyone using these lasers and recommended that I search the Internet to find someone.
It took me a long time to find a doctor that offers the laser treatment. In June 2008, I met with Dr. Hayes B. Gladstone, M.D. at Stanford. He told me immediately that he could not help me, that the laser treatments are extremely expensive, require many treatments, and that the results are not impressive and not guaranteed. Had I gone to another doctor, I might have been told a different story, which is my past experience.
I was very glad that Dr. Gladstone was honest with me and gave me a solution, which led me to you for micro pigmentation. I had never heard of that, but was happy to have a solution. Although results are important, cost is also important, since I must pay out of pocket for this. The price was much more reasonable than for the laser.
My newest and whitest scar improved almost immediately after the first treatment. My older scars took more than one application of pigment before they began to blend in. But, they have all shown significant improvement and are blending in very nicely. The treatments did not take long and weren’ painful. I have told my friends in the medical profession about your service.
It took me years to find a solution that am happy with with.
The biggest obstacle was a lack of information or incorrect information about solutions from medical professionals.
It would be great if patients with scars were given good information about solutions. If medical professionals do not have this information, I believe it is very important that they be informed.

"My name is Pamela, a 44-year old resident of Long Beach, who contacted Theresa in late 2007 to solicit her help in trying to reverse facial scars created by a dermabrasion surgery.
Having paid thousands of dollars for dermabrasion surgery to improve my skin, and ending up with horrific, indented scars, you can imagine my outrage and depression as I labored to find solutions to this unexpected debacle.
