There is minimal or no down time involved with most procedures.

You may have temporary swelling around the area for the first day or two, you may help reduce  this using Vaseline and using cold packs for discomfort and swelling. To make a cold press  take a salad bowl and wash it well. Fill it with water and ice cubes and soak several wash cloths (or gauze) in the bowl and keep the bowl in the refrigerator.
Apply the cold cloth to the face and this will ease the discomfort and burning and assist the swelling. When the cloth becomes warm, replace it with a new cold soak cloth. You can do this as much as you wish, but doing this will wash off the Vaseline, so remember to place a good coat of Vaseline over the treated areas when needed.

Crusting can appear on the  area and it is important not to pick at it. Picking may cause loss of color or scaring.

Use a good strong sunblock when outdoors to prolong the life of the pigmented areas, direct sunlight to prevent sunburn or pigment changes.
It is recommend that you do not go swimming within 7-10 days after your procedure..

In rare circumstance reaction to one of the pigments used may occur resulting in swelling or itching. If there is any redness, heat or pain, please contact your GP.
